Terms of use

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of miitdaga.dev, a personal portfolio run by Miit Daga, Kolkata, India. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site is

The site presents Miit's work, research and projects. It also includes games (the arcade), a terminal, a guestbook, live space data, and Mission Control, an AI assistant that answers questions about Miit. All of it is free. There are no accounts and nothing is for sale.

Using the site

You agree not to:

  • post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes anyone's rights in the guestbook or in a leaderboard name
  • impersonate someone else, or use a name meant to mislead
  • cheat or tamper with the arcade or its leaderboards, for example by sending fabricated scores or replays
  • try to overload, probe, break or get around the site's limits, its security, or the terminal's curl proxy
  • use the site, or its AI assistant, to build something that harms other people
  • scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others

Guestbook entries, leaderboard names and scores may be edited or removed at any time, without notice, for any reason, including to keep the site friendly.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you write in the guestbook and the names you choose. By posting, you allow the site to store and display that content publicly, for as long as it stays on the site.

Mission Control (the AI assistant)

Mission Control's answers are generated by third-party AI models from the site's own content. They can be incomplete or wrong. They are not statements by Miit, and they are not professional, legal or hiring advice. For anything that matters, check the site's own pages or email Miit directly. Questions are sent to the AI providers described in the privacy policy, so don't include personal or sensitive information.

Live data

Space data on the site (the ISS position, satellites, the solar system, the Sun, the Deep Space Network, launches and news) comes from public sources such as NASA, NOAA, ISRO, CelesTrak and others. It is shown for interest only. It may be delayed, approximate or unavailable, and must not be relied on for navigation, safety or any operational purpose.

Intellectual property

The site's source code is available on GitHub under the MIT License. Third-party material keeps its own licence and credit: NASA imagery (public domain), planet textures from Solar System Scope (CC BY 4.0), music from OpenGameArt (CC0), and others credited on the pages where they appear. Published papers belong to their publishers and authors under the terms shown on each paper.

Third-party services and links

The site uses and links to services run by others, such as GitHub, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google and NASA. Those services have their own terms and policies, and Miit isn't responsible for them.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It may change, break or go offline at any time, and features may be added or removed without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Miit Daga is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it, including AI-generated answers and live data. The site is free, and your only remedy if you're unhappy with it is to stop using it.
